A solitary building, together with the terracing of the site, divides the property into open areas that can be used in a variety of ways. The striking five-finger building is given an appropriate apron, the curve of the balustrade becomes a belvedere with a view of the Black Forest. The parking areas disappear cost-effectively under a plane tree canopy. The building is conceived as a spatial and sculptural composition of the large lecture halls and is oriented around a centrally lit atrium. The individually designed common areas on each floor serve as circulation, break and communication areas.
