Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Criminal Investigation Department and Police Station in Calw

Let’s get started: On Monday, October 19, 2026, in the presence of Florian Kling, Mayor of Calw; State Secretary Reiner Moser; and Christian Lindinger, Head of the Office of Property and Construction in Pforzheim, we celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the Criminal Investigation Division and police station in Calw.

The new building, designed to accommodate approximately 200 employees, will be constructed at the northern entrance to the city of Calw. Completion is scheduled for 2029.

3rd Prize in the Competition “Addition and Renovation of the White House into the New Castle Theater in Moers”

Congratulations to our competition team: Our design for the addition and renovation of the White House into the new Castle Theater in Moers was awarded third prize by the jury! We are very pleased about this!

The designs of the five prize winners will be on public display starting November 5, 2026, at the Hanns-Dieter-Hüsch Education Center, Wilhelm-Schröder-Str. 10, 47441 Moers. All 17 submitted designs will also be available for viewing on the City of Moers website at www.moers.de.

Opening of the Kulturraffinerie K714 cultural center in Monheim

The Kultrurraffinerie K714 in Monheim was officially opened last week with a diverse program. At the pre-opening on September 2, 2026, Mayor Sonja Wienecke welcomed the guests – afterward, the new hall resonated for the first time during a concert by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam.

We are delighted that the new cultural centre has opened its doors and, as a new venue for art and culture, is enriching cultural life in Monheim and beyond.

New Project: XLAB Meeting Center and Guest House in Göttingen

Architectural photographer Brigida González photographed our new project, the “XLAB Meeting Center and Guest House,” in Göttingen.

The new building complements our XLAB Experimental Lab, built in 2004, and offers overnight accommodations for about 50 students as well as spaces for education, social interaction, and scientific exchange.

Commendation in the “High School West” Competition in Greven

Congratulations to our competition team—our design for the “New West School Building, Greven High School,” which we developed in collaboration with Koeber Landscape Architecture, received a commendation!

All 14 competition entries will be on display from July 15 through August 3, 2026 in an exhibition in the town hall foyer. The exhibition can be viewed during the town hall’s regular opening hours at Rathausstraße 6, 48268 Greven.

Architektoren (Architectural Tours) in Bavaria with the Regensburg Vocational School

We’ll also be participating in this year’s Architektouren, organized by the Bavarian Chamber of Architects! We’re excited to showcase our Georg-Kerschensteiner Vocational School in Regensburg to the public.

Everyone interested is cordially invited. The tour begins on June 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The meeting point is the Brahmsstraße bus stop (corner of Hermann-Geib-Straße and Ziegelweg) in 93053 Regensburg.

Commendation in the Markt Mering Town Hall Competition

Congratulations to our competition team - our design for the “New Town Hall Building and Surrounding Area in Markt Mering,” which we developed in collaboration with Koeber Landscape Architecture and wh-p Consulting Engineers, has been awarded a commendation!

The jury, chaired by Rainer Hofmann (bogevischs buero, Munich), stated: “The three elongated, three-story structures with gabled roofs blend quite harmoniously into the urban fabric.”

Groundbreaking ceremony for the Protestant Community Center in Kochendorf

We are delighted to mark the start of a project that began back in 2019: Together with Mayor Timo Frey and Parish Council Chair Pascal Holzwarth, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Protestant Community Center in Kochendorf (Bad Friedrichshall) took place on Monday.

Located right next to St. Sebastian’s Church, our new building will become an important part of the town center.

XLAB Meeting Center for young researchers in Göttingen officially opened

We are delighted to announce the completion of a new project: On April 15, 2026, our new XLAB Foundation Meeting Center was officially opened in the presence of numerous guests.
On the campus of the University of Göttingen, in the immediate vicinity of our XLAB experimental laboratory completed in 2004, a new complex has been built. With seminar rooms, common areas, and a residential wing (with approximately 50 beds), it promotes learning, living, and exchange among young people and researchers from the research institutes, while closely connecting them with one another.

Ceremonial inauguration of the Education Center in Rottenburg

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, the grand opening of the Education Center, which includes an adult education center, music school, and daycare center, took place in Rottenburg.

Accompanied by a variety of music, the new premises were officially opened in the presence of Mayor Stephan Neher. Congratulations to our team on the completion of the new building!

Grand opening of the vocational school in Regensburg

In the presence of Mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer and Education Officer Sabine Kellner-Mayrhofer, we celebrated the grand opening of our extension to the Georg Kerschensteiner Vocational School in Regensburg last Friday.

Headmaster Alfons Koller was enthusiastic about the new rooms and emphasized: “We are now playing in the Champions League.”

Congratulations to our competition team – our design for the Bildungscampus West in Saarbrücken, which we developed together with merz kley partner and freiraumconcept sinz-beerstecher+böpple Landschaftsarchitekten, was awarded 3rd prize. We are delighted!

Two Commendations at the Westphalian Prize for Building Culture 2025

We are delighted to have received two commendations at the Westphalian Prize for Building Culture 2025: Both the Council and Community Hall in Holzwickede and the Anneliese Brost Music Forum Ruhr in Bochum received an award.

From 197 submitted projects in the fields of urban development, architecture, and open space planning, an independent jury selected a total of 5 prizes and 10 commendations.
