2nd prize at the Campus Golzheim competition in Düsseldorf

We are very pleased to have won 2nd prize in the competition for the Golzheim Campus in Düsseldorf. In addition to an urban-open space planning reorganization of the campus, the competition area included the design of a building for the Düsseldorf Academy of Music as well as a sketchy proposal for the Düsseldorf district government.

In our design, developed together with asp Architekten and Koeber Landschaftsarchitektur, the central park serves as the green lung of the campus and an identity-creating open space that invites passers-by, students, workers, and residents to linger, move, and exchange ideas.

Alternate venue for the Nuremberg State Theater

In the context of a parallel multiple commission for an urban planning survey of the alternative venue of the Nuremberg State Theater, the first issue was the exact location of the interim.

While the jury decided last Friday in favor of the northwestern side of the inner courtyard of the nearly 40-meter-high Congress Hall, we proposed a location on the outer façade of the unfinished Nazi building, which was constructed between 1935 and 1943.
