The design of the St. Martin children's house responds to the property, which is accessed from the north via a sharp corner, with a recessed, freely shaped building body. The geometric shape of the house forms a back to the adjacent streets and opens up to the south to the adjacent outdoor area. The group rooms are lined up along an inner play street that connects the two-story entrance hall to the exit in the free play area. A staircase leads through the zenithally lit airspace to the upper floor, which has its own roof terrace. The vertical latticework accentuates the curved shape of the house with its fine lines.
