A guest house with about 50 beds and a communal area is to be built within walking distance of the laboratory building for foreign students taking courses at the Göttingen Experimental Laboratory for Young People XLAB. In addition, two seminar rooms and the administration of the XLAB Foundation will be housed in the new building. The rooms will be distributed over two tower houses and freely arranged on the rising terrain. The building volume will be integrated into the topography in such a way that the main entrance on the base floor and the terrace above it benefit from the slope situation. An interesting interplay between architecture and landscape is created. A communicative ensemble is created for a stimulating temporary community.
