Three solitary buildings are situated on the school grounds. They divide the site into zones and, together with the existing middle school, clearly define designated open spaces. The school’s established main entrance on Hohewartstraße to the north is retained and supplemented by two additional entrances: one to the southwest on Jakob-Kraus-Straße and one to the southeast on Wittlinger Straße. The school campus thus achieves a strong and comprehensive integration with the surrounding neighborhood. All three entrances lead to a central, tree-lined school plaza that serves as the vibrant heart of the educational campus. It is flanked on three sides by the elementary school, the cafeteria, and the existing secondary school. Consequently, all buildings are accessed from here. Thanks to the three-story design of the structures and the careful consideration of the topography, the buildings blend well into the scale of the neighborhood. At the same time, the compactness of the three buildings ensures a low degree of soil sealing on the school grounds.
